The Mintakaa Collective are a neo psych jazz ensemble led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Luke Weaver aka Mintakaa, featuring Sophie Hadlum on Keys, Clarinet & Vocals, Joe Beesley on Keys & Guitar and Andrew Hudson on Bass.

Taking influence from artists such as Flying Lotus, BadBadNotGood, Kiefer & UK jazz artists Yuseff Dayes, Alfa Mist & Oscar Jerome, The Mintakaa Collective fuse hip hop and electronic UK bass inspired beats with hypnotic, neojazz chord progressions and melodies gliding through astral ambience.
In 2020 Mintakaa was featured on the Front Room Sessions Album released by Coventry City of Culture, a collaboration with Coventry based vocalist Bella Deanie. And in 2021 they released the single and music video (produced by Apparition Visuals) for “Auriga”.
